WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE

I am a Hilton Honors member and had booked 3 rooms for 2 nights at this hotel. In total, we had 5 rooms ( plus 2 rooms booked by my Nephews) booked and all of us were in Woodbridge for my sister's funeral. The request was for Monday check out at 2:00 PM. The front desk staff were very pleasant and wanted to check with the manager Linda. To make it worse, we find out that the hotel is owned by a PATEL. But I guess he is busy making money elsewhere leaving this property in the hands of a manager. This is where it really got ugly. Linda stormed out of her office and started shouting at us that this is not possible and had told my nephew the same a day before. She could at least have first greeted us nicely and rejected our request politely. I travel extensively and spend over 80 nights in hotels every year, but never in my life have I ever experienced such rudeness from a hotel staff, especially from a manager. I do not believe she should work in the hospitality business and kindly request an apology from the hotel owner. Please note that all other staff at the hotel were very nice and polite. However, because of this manager, I would never stay at this hotel and recommend all to be very careful that you do not engage in any conversation with her.

Nice hotel with convenient adjacent restaurant

I booked the Hilton Hampton Inn Woodbridge hotel using my Hilton hotel L-SRR points in mid January for one night. We parked our car in their parking lot. Our check in and check out went smoothly with my Hilton app. I reserved two queen beds, which were confirmed. The hotel and hotel room were nice. A restaurant was adjacent to the hotel, which was very convenient for us to visit during our stay for dinner. We also enjoyed their standard complimentary breakfast. If required we will stay here again.

Unexpected Late-Night Turnaway

After a long drive from Massachusetts to North Carolina, we stopped in Woodbridge around 2:00 AM hoping to get a room for the night. Unfortunately, the front desk clerk told us they were unable to accommodate us because the hotel had already “closed out the day” and could not accept any new reservations. We were surprised, as this hotel is located right off I-95, where late-night travelers and walk-ins would seem fairly common. No alternative options or accommodations were offered, which left us with no choice but to continue driving through the night. This was an unexpected and disappointing experience, especially given the location and the time of night.

This was a great hotel. Convenient comfortable and nice vibe. We were cruising out of Bayonne and was a 30 minute ride. Convenient dinning. Nice breakfast. Gym was good parking convenient. Staff were great, very helpful.

We chose this hotel for its central location for the next stop on our roadtrip. And it worked out perfectly. Free onsite parking. Easy check-in. Dinner options across the parking lot; 10% discount for hotel guests! Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Complimentary breakfast in a nice setting off the lobby. Our only complaint was not being able to figure out how to watch network and local television stations. We like to know the local weather and watch primetime network shows.
