Don’t bother. Very strange set up.

Well. What strange accommodation. Booked 2 nights about 3 weeks prior to going. When we arrive nobody there. We rang and got told she didn’t realise we were staying then admitted she hadn’t checked any emails. We were told to go next door to get her elderly mum to come and unlock. Her lovely mum bless her had shall we say had memory problems. Anyway. We were sitting in her house being baby sat by an old lady as we weren’t aloud in house by ourselves. This was the first break we had this year. My wife works for nhs and we were looking forward just to get away. I spoke to the owner and we agreed we would stay somewhere else and she would refund the money. But then said as we sat in the house it needed a deep clean and no money would be returned (amazing how people can be so two faced and greedy) house looked a mess. And there’s notices saying no food or drinks aloud anywhere unless your down stairs basically sitting with the rest of the family. The whole situation just very strange.

Really nice overnight stay, the hosts were brilliant and very welcoming. the room was spotless and the breakfast was perfect. Will definitely stay again.

Beautiful house, superb room. Very welcoming hosts. The breakfast was top notch. The farm was so beautiful and peaceful, will definitely go back , the camping site looks amazing too.
