− Nuestra experiencia con este hotel, desafortunadamente, dejó mucho que desear. Elegimos este hotel porque celebramos nuestra boda en Jardín La Estancia y, en un principio, todo parecía indicar que el proceso para nuestros invitados sería sencillo. Sin embargo, la realidad fue muy diferente. Desde semanas antes del evento, muchos de nuestros invitados tuvieron problemas para reservar. Los tiempos de respuesta eran muy largos y los convenios con tarifa preferencial se agotaron muy rápido. Lo más preocupante fue que, a pocas semanas de la boda, varias reservaciones realizadas a través de Booking comenzaron a mostrar errores en el método de pago y el hotel indicaba que serían canceladas. Intentamos actualizar la información con diferentes tarjetas y el problema continuaba apareciendo. Después de contactar al hotel tanto por Booking como por WhatsApp, nos informaron que era necesario pagar el 50% de la estancia para conservar la reservación. El inconveniente es que enviaban enlaces de pago directamente por WhatsApp, los cuales, sinceramente, parecían poco confiables y generaban mucha incertidumbre. Nos preocupaba especialmente que nuestros invitados pensaran que se trataba de un fraude y terminaran perdiendo su reservación. Tres días antes del evento fui personalmente al hotel para entender qué estaba ocurriendo. Me explicaron que solicitan anticipos porque algunas personas cancelan o no se presentan. Entiendo perfectamente esa situación; sin embargo, no resulta coherente que en Booking anuncien la opción de “paga en la propiedad” y “cancelación gratuita” si, al final, exigen un pago anticipado directamente con el hotel para respetar la reservación. Considero que deberían actualizar esa política para evitar confusiones. El día del check-in también fue una experiencia complicada. Teníamos alrededor de 10 habitaciones reservadas y el proceso tomó aproximadamente una hora y media.
Es un buen hotel para nadar y descansar!
