Highly recommended--our first choice in Bermuda

My husband and I spent 6 nights at Pompano during June 2026. It was our 4th or 5th stay. Pompano remains our first choice for Bermuda. The Lamb family clearly is still in charge of this resort, involved in every aspect of the property. It's not uncommon to see them at the desk, stacking towels or pouring run swizzles at the Monday night gathering. Many of the staff have been here for many, many years, and they are a huge asset. The mean plan could not be better, providing a yummy breakfast (sometimes buffet, sometimes not) and 5 course dinner daily. My biggest problem was that I could not eat all 5 courses! Alcohol is not included, but the drink prices are surprisingly affordable. We enjoyed both the pool and the beach. We also used the spa; we both had 2 massages, and they were among the best we have ever had--at a reasonable price. Personally, I preferred the restaurants to the Monday night barbeque, but I am probably in the minority; for me, the quality and selection of the regular menu was preferably, but I think that's an individual choice. The pool was always clean, and the towels were plentiful. You never have to save a beach chair in advance because the beach is not overly crowded. The rooms could use an update, yes. However, to us, that is minor. We will return many, many times so long as this resort remains open.

Uniquely wonderful place to stay in Bermuda

Riding home from the airport and taking the time to write a review. We had a wonderful time here. We’ve been several times and it never disappoints. The owners were up bright and early with us to make sure we got our taxi, and the staff were incredible as always. Such a warm and cozy place to stay. Don’t forget to check out the spa. So enjoyed the fabulous July 4th Barbecue/Buffet last night. So much choice with every course with snow crab, smoked salmon, shrimp, mussels and oysters among the appetizers. Star of the show was the whole Maine Lobster as well as steak, ribs, chicken etc.the dessert station would have made a Parisian patisserie smile. The owner/ managers, Larry and Tom Lamb are always at hand and help create the friendly,family atmosphere with their always pleasant staff. Sadly for us, Larry and Tom are retiring but happy for them as they have put in a wonderful shift and fully deserve some time to themselves and their families.

Wonderful week in a beautiful resort in beautiful Bermuda.

Food was absolutely spectacular. We all loved the pool and the ocean. Rafts were fun to use. Kids used the game room and some of the adults used the workout room. Wonderful facilty. The Lamb brothers are hands and adjust so nice. All the staff is wonderful. And the shuttle service was a real plus.

A rare gem of a hotel

This hotel offers the very rare experience and charm of Bermuda at its best. It is family run and this rare charm is felt in all aspects of the hotel. They truly care and do everything to make you feel welcomed and accommodated. Great staff, fantastic food in any of the restaurants,beautiful grounds, plenty of recreation at the hotel and the place is very clean. Our room was always kept clean and had top notch towels and bedding plus all modern amenities such as flat screen tvs, windowless ac and nice new flooring and curtains. Room never smelled musty either. Bathrooms were super large and very functional. Some areas of the resort and rooms show some age wear but the place by no means is run down. Over my 50 years of visiting Bermuda you will be hard pressed to find a gem like Pompano beach hotel and you will not find any that offers the same charm and value.

Idyllic location and beautiful beach

You can argue that it needs updating and has some wear and tear, but you're paying for the views and the attention you get. It's a place we and many have returned to for 25 - 30 years. True luxury is found elsewhere on the island. This is a place with great food, individual attention, and good accommodations. We love the place and return when we can.
