There is a queen size bed with quality bed linen. The room boasts antique furniture including 2 bedside tables each with a lamp. There is a large oak wardrobe with an oval mirror and matching oak dressing table. Guests have access to a spacious bathroom with a shower, vanity and heated towel rails. Guest should be fully vaccinated to be able to stay at our property. We will only accept guests who are FULLY vaccinated. We will NOT accept guests who are NOT Vaccinated, Even if they have a recent negative Coronavirus PCR test or recent proof of Coronavirus recovery.

Wonderful old world charm. Beautifully kept property. Nice interacting with the host/owners and to hear the history of the house, family and area. A very special experience.

Anja and David are exceptional hosts. Thank you for sharing your home and history, homemade hot x buns and warm welcome. The breakfast spread was generous and very memorable with the two of you. We hope Anja, you get to try the evening banquet at Hobbiton! Haha..

− During the night, the floors creak when walking to the bathroom. Didn't want to wake you!

Great house, comfy bed, genial hosts, fabulous breakfast, absolutely 10/10. David and I played a frame of snooker ( he's pretty good - watch out ) and he drove me to the ANZAC service in Paeroa the following morning. Anja is a great host, keeping a meticulous house, and serving an excellent breakfast, with great coffee. Lovely views from the balcony top off a great visit.
