10.0This is a great property. I have stayed several times in the past 12 months. Always very clean. A sensational water park (which I and my grandchildren enjoy). Rooms are quiet. Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet is very good, and the dining area is tended to throughout the breakfast service. They have a great team working at the Holiday Inn Express in Fremont, NE!!
Not Great At All
2.0Absolutely terrible experience from start to finish. The hotel somehow lost my original reservation and then “fixed” it by creating a new reservation at a higher rate than what I originally booked. Instead of honoring the price I had confirmed, they charged me more. To make matters worse, they put me in the room closest to the lobby/breakfast area where people were drinking, yelling, and carrying on until around 2:30 a.m. I barely slept. There was clearly no concern for guests trying to rest. The next morning I called IHG customer service and was told the manager would take care of it “no problem.” That absolutely did not happen. The manager was rude, unhelpful, and still charged me the higher amount despite the hotel’s mistake. Overall, terrible customer service, poor handling of a reservation issue, and an awful overnight experience. I will not be staying here again.
