Perfect for the price!
9.0Staff was friendly and professional. Facility was very clean. I really appreciated having gluten free offerings for breakfast (even GF cookies available at check in). Most hotels have gross breakfast and terrible coffee but they had really good coffee and the breakfast was much higher quality than expected for most free hotel breakfasts (ex. Prepackaged breakfast sandwiches and egg white bites etc) so you can skip the Starbucks trip.
− Not a huge deal normally but since we came during a heat wave to visit colleges so it was really frustrating that the ice machine on our floor was broken. I didn’t try any other floors because I expected ice and water in the breakfast area on the way out but there wasn’t any there either. Also there are no water fountains/dispensers anywhere I could find. Not in the breakfast area or any hallway. They did give a small bottle of water at check in and they sell bottles of water but since it was literally 100 in the afternoon we wanted to fill large refillable bottles with ice and cold water to stay hydrated out in the heat. That was a bummer.

Quiet stay
10.0Convenient to downtown, the mall, the hospital and local attractions. Quiet location with large parking area. Friendly and competent front desk staff. Clean room, in fact, the whole building was clean. Beds were comfortable and hot water came out of the shower. Continental style breakfast is available daily. Price is included in the room cost.
Will choose somewhere else next time.

− MOLD ALL IN THE BATHROOM ON THE CEILING! PLUS THEY CHARGED EXTRA $20 FOR 2 ADULT WOMEN/SISTER WHO WERE IN THE ROOM LESS THAN 12 HOURS...TRAVELING FOR SCHOOL. NOT HAPPY!
Waiting for call from hotel manager
8.0We have stayed at this hotel numerous times on our way to OBX. Our last stay was Friday, May 8. No problems with the room. Several days after leaving I became aware that I left my zip up hoodie in my room. My wife called and talked to an employee, describing the lost item. The employee said they hat the sweat shirt at the hotel and would hold it. We went to pick it up Saturday afternoon, May16. The sweat shirt they offered me was not the one that I had left behind. It was a very busy check-in time and an employee trainee was gracious enough to take my information and told me that they would check some more and she would notify the manager, who was coming on duty shortly. She assured me the manager would be in touch with me in the next day or two, Monday at the latest. I left my phone number and email address. It is now May 26 and I have had no feedback from the hotel
