The property was amazing, especially the experience without a fence surrounding it. Animals were close all the time and walked through the camp. You sleep in a luxury tent, but don’t worry if your trip is in wintertime, because the staff have you sorted and put heat bottle under the blankets. So when you’re coming back your bed is warm and the shower is even warmer.

El personal es un 10, todos siempre muy preocupados, la limpieza de todo el lugar y las comidas deliciosas, a pesar de no tener almuerzo, ya que todas las comidas eran abundantes y daban un tentenpie a las 15:00

− El campamento queda lejos de la puerta principal, a nosotros nos tocó el camino malo por las lluvias, mas que no me gustó ,aconsejo ir en un auto alto. El lugar es impresionante y la experiencia es inolvidable.

Our stay at Pungwe was truly unforgettable – an absolute highlight of our trip. The food was exceptional from start to finish. Before the morning drive, we were welcomed with coffee and light snacks, followed by a different freshly prepared breakfast each day when we returned – omelettes, French toast, homemade sausages and more, alongside a generous buffet of cheeses, charcuterie, fruit and yoghurt. After the evening drive, dinner was always a delicious three-course menu that changed daily. A special thank you to Carol, the chef – every meal was outstanding and something we genuinely looked forward to. The game drives were fantastic. Heading out early in the morning and again in the afternoon gave us the best chances to see wildlife. Never and Isaac made the experience incredibly special. Not only were they amazing at spotting animals, but they also shared so much knowledge and we just had so much fun and laughs with them. The tents were very comfortable and beautifully maintained. Housekeeping took such great care of us, setting up mosquito nets, doing a thoughtful turndown service each evening, and having everything perfectly arranged when we returned from the drives. At night, the experience felt truly wild; hearing hyenas running past the tents, monkeys on the decks, and even elephants feeding nearby was unforgettable. Overall, an incredible experience with amazing people, fantastic food, and a true connection to the bush. We would return in a heartbeat.

L'experience était encore plus magique que ce que je pouvais imaginer. Safari exceptionnel avec des guides expérimentés. Cuisine délicieuse. Cadre paradisiaque. Et Michel est un homme incroyable avec tant d'histoires à partager. J'ai hâte de revenir un jour.

Unforgettable days in the bush of the beautiful Manyeleti

Pungwe is in a wonderful wild area of the beautiful Manyeleti, surrounded by nothing else but the bush, with all its sounds, smells and encounters of its local residents. There is no wifi and the lamps and loading stations for your camera equipment are powered by batteries loaded by the sun. The rooms/tents are roomy, with comfy beds and the adjacent bathrooms have everything you need. The food was always very delicious and included local specialities. The game drives were amazing and our guide Isaac would always also stop for little creatures and birds. Last but not least, having someone like Michel around with all his many stories to tell, made it extra special and unforgettable. We will for sure go back!
