Came for the Price, Stayed for the Hot Tub and Breakfast
8.0This place did not pretend to be something it is not, and I respect that. The price was perfectly representative of the establishment. The room is a bit dated, but it was clean, and that is what matters most. The thermostat was one of those old slide controls, and it appeared to be more of a suggestion than a control. I slid it around with optimism, but the temperature did its own thing. The shower head is also due for an upgrade, but the shower still worked fine. On the bright side, the staff were genuinely friendly, the hot tub was actually hot (rare win), and breakfast was great. If you are passing through Golden and want good value, a clean room, and a solid soak, this is a perfectly reasonable stop.
