We have chosen to stay at Flagstaff Gardens on a number of occasions and will be back
9.0The lady at the desk has looked after us the last few times we have stayed; she is always cheerful, friendly, and gets us checked in efficiently. The room was clean and had ample space for the 2 of us. The bed is super comfy, and the 4 pillows on the bed were all great too (they have a pillow menu to choose from if the ones on the bed don't suit you), making for a great night's sleep. The shower has good water pressure. For us, the location is perfect, close to Flagstaff train station or tram stops going in any direction close by and, of course, the super short stroll to Queen Vic. Market. Close to everything in the CBD, and we found it quiet at night for a good night's sleep. <3.
− Nothing we didn't like really. They were renovating, which is great to keep the property up to date, but I do think this could be stated as a heads-up on booking.com, so you know before booking. Not a major negative, though.
Great location, friendly staff, great price
8.0Such a good location, really nice and communicative staff and check in was super easy. Easy walk from a car park and easy to get to in the city,
− The only thing issue was the rooms are no sound proof what so ever. You can hear everything from other rooms. We were woken up at 7am with someone constantly knocking or tapping on a wall which continued until we left. I thought it was construction noise but was definitely coming from either the above or next door room.
