Very good stay, very comfortable bed, delightful and very helpful staff.
8.0Breakfast good, however, my room rate was not ‘Breakfast included’ but a friend also staying and paying less ‘was included’. ?? Location of Hotel excellent.
− No separate shower, bath shower attachment taps didn’t run well. Water extremely hot and difficult to control hot and cold mix.
It served a purpose.

5.0location lovely very overpriced for state of hotel it's in desperate need of a complete makeover everywhere needs painting at the very least . it was very grubby and everywhere needs a good clean and a sweep outside
− cleanliness was almost non existent very overpriced for state of the entire hotel breakfast was awful on both days slightly better today as a buffet needs a complete makeover and everywhere needs a proper deep clean and paint job
Fabulous location
8.0We chose Makeney Hall purely for its location, which was perfect. The room was big and the facilities good. Great that there is a lift!

9.0The location and the ground were great, and our room was clean and comfortable . The part of the hotel were our room was a good situation for our dog was quite easy to get to the grounds for a walk.
