8.0The hotel impressed me with its prime downtown location and convenient valet parking. The staff were welcoming and attentive throughout our stay, while the rooms were maintained to a high standard of cleanliness. Its closeness to a variety of shops and the lake added further appeal, and the breakfast completed a thoroughly enjoyable experience.
− A couple of aspects fell short of expectations. The room felt a bit tiny for the overall standard of the hotel, the toilet door does not close fully, which slightly affects privacy and convenience, and the value of parking is high.

10.0Das Frühstück im Hotel war hervorragend und ein echtes Highlight unseres Aufenthalts. Die Auswahl war außergewöhnlich groß, die Speisen frisch und hochwertig – es gab wirklich für jeden Geschmack etwas. Es blieben keine Wünsche offen. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber, geschmackvoll und funktionell eingerichtet. Die Getränke in der Minibar waren im Preis enthalten, die Minibar wurde täglich aufgefüllt. Die Matratzen waren super bequem. Das Personal war außerordentlich freundlich und erfüllte all unsere Wünsche. Die Lage im Herzen von Lugano war für einen Kurztrip ideal, man konnte alles gut zu Fuß erreichen. Das Seeufer mit dem Schiffsanleger erreichte man in ca. 3 Minuten. Auch die direkte Anbindung an die Standseilbahn war ein großer Vorteil und sorgte für eine äußerst komfortable Verbindung zwischen Bahnhof und Hotel.
− Fast alles war perfekt, lediglich die Klimaanlage war selbst auf kleinster Stufe nachts gut hörbar. Auch ausgeschaltet machte sie ab und zu leise Geräusche. Dies könnte noch perfektioniert werden.
