Meh. Room good, but a charge for everything that almost all other hotels provide guests for free?

The room was nice and the housekeepers were, too. But this hotel - which was around $240 for one night (the best and lowest rate) - does not provide even a bottle of water or anything at all for snacks or breakfast (even though I’m a Marriott Bonvoy member). Everything is an extra charge. Hardly what I consider welcoming to guests.
