10.0My wife and I stayed at the Pollard and loved it. Our room and bed was so comfortable, great silent air conditioning, and the bathroom was so nicely done. We also enjoyed cocktails in the bar (Marli’s) and had two delicious breakfasts. The staff is all so friendly! This is an iconic gem of a hotel.
Historical and Comfortable
10.0There are several great options for lodging in Red Lodge,MT but for this visit, we wanted some thing a little more upscale, romantic, and centrally located. The Pollard was the perfect choice. Although historical hotel, it has been well kept and updated. We had a King suite which was large enough to spread out. The king bed was very comfortable. The bathroom had a large Jacuzzi tub with shower. An interesting feature is that it has a balcony that overlooks the interior of the hotel. It was a nice place to enjoy morning coffee but a little noisy when an obviously untrained pianist decided to practice chopsticks lol. Check-in and reception staff is extremely pleasant and they offered some optional free snacks at check-in. I rarely mention the gym in a hotel as they are typically run-of-the-mill, but this is one of the best gyms I’ve come across. I believe it’s actually fitness center available to residents, although both times I visited I was just one of 2 to 3 people in the entire facility although there are enough machines for lots of people at one time. It has a cardio room, weight room, Pickleball court, sauna, and shower facilities. All the equipment is new and good quality. The hotel also has a nice large banquet area and it would be a lovely location for a wedding or special celebration. Breakfast in the hotel restaurant was absolutely delicious and large enough for a big eater or as a shared plate. Don’t miss the donuts!

10.0Excellent location downtown. We were there during the motorcycle rally (not planned), so prices were on the high side. The workout room was the best I have ever seen at a hotel. The room we had was spacious and I loved the shower.
