8.0Location was great. Room was clean and tidy and a good size.

Comfortable with great location for town shops/bars.
7.0Clean, presentable, fantastic breakfast, really lovely outdoor eating area. Wish id known more re the out door pursuit’s facilities as I’d booked through someone else before arriving!
− Too high tech on the door entry system. Not sure it’s that effective either. You could re-enter within a minute of door shutting. I felt i had to wait until it decided to lock before I could leave my landing?!? Outdoors appearance filled me with dread as I arrived. It made me feel like I’d check out the room before bringing my luggage in,

− Getting in was a little fiddly
Steam train was wonderful. Walks along river too. Local people very friendly.
9.0Breakfast seemed limited ie most places you can have cereal and a cooked breakfast. But on reflection it was sufficient. Staff were most friendly and helpful. Food in cafe was delicious. Fans in room were fantastic.
− Booking through booking.com was poor for us. I would book direct next time as we need a river view (cooler during heat wave) and first floor.
Too short a stay, will return happily.

− Toilet seat does not fit toilet, it is too small and not nice Cheap bedside lights The shower is very cheap and old fashioned For this price point we would expect a higher bathroom standard
