Super friendly atmosphere! Huge shoutout for Nola, she was the most helpful and friendly person we met there! Very nice room, clean building, nice pool, delicious breakfast.

− The property was in desperate need of upkeep and repairs to the entire facilities. I cannot fathom how this place had such a high score for the condition it is in. The pictures and rating should be updated on Booking.com. Honestly, I could not see myself staying at another Sonesta again in the future. From driving up to the location, I had a feeling that it was more of a motel than a Hotel. When checking in, they placed me into a room that was not selected. When questioning this from the staff, they said this was all they had and did not offer any hospitality options. When coming to the door of the room, it looked like it had been busted into along the frame and door. The door had to be forced open to gain entry and the door handle on the inside was being held together by an oversized flat head screw. The room was very dated and looked to have been from the 90’s era or older. The walls were cracked and paint peeling in numerous areas. The base boards and doors were either broken or missing in portions. We also found bugs in the sheets in the secondary bed. There were interior doors missing and the bathrooms did not have any soap dispensers or soap available. Spoke with the front desk and asked for hand soap and was told they do not carry any since the rooms were upgraded. (Except our room was not upgraded). In the restrooms, there were no toilet paper holders installed and only had half rolls left on top of the toilets. The final straw was when leaving on the last day. I was loading out luggage in the car and when going back to the room, I found out that they had turned our card access off already. When I made it to the breakfast area at 9:02am, I asked if I could get a glass of apple juice and the representative told me that they shut down at 9:00 am. Very frustrating experience and could not fathom how this place stays in business and receives any decent reviews. Always stay at this property, once a month. Rooms are always good and very comfortable for me. Breakfast is always great.

− Had bugs in this room. Roaches were visible in kitchen and bathroom area. Kitchen sink was terrible with bugs. Never had this happen in all my stays?
