8.0After our initial wait at reception as they couldn’t find our booking and we are a member of the BW group and having to spell my name to the receptionist 😂 The room we think was just one found for us not what you would expect being a member no upgrade offered The lounge is very relaxing and bar staff very friendly and help the hotel is in a great location and very close to the rail station and the centre of town 5 minutes walk away

5.0The location was excellent and staff were very helpful. Being able to store the luggage before check in was very helpful.
− Mould on the bathroom ceiling, room was very tired. The room did not look like the photos on the website, was disappointed. Some of the electrical sockets didn't work and the was no USB ports or sockets next to the bedside tables.

− Some of the staff seemed to be unsure of what they were supposed to do. Our bedroom was lovely but it had one tiny drawer.

8.0The check in was easy and the location very convenient with easy paid parking facilities.The room was clean, quiet and comfortable in the old original building as i had requested.The hotel is within easy walking distance of Foregate street Chester center plus bus stops outside hotel.All the staff were pleasant and helpful.
− Maybe more attention should be paid to the house keeping .One of the bedside lights not working and inconsistency between the two identical superior double rooms i.e. no water bottles or crisps in one of the rooms.
