A night in Antwerpen

My sister and I spent one night at this hotel. Struggling with language.The reception staff was barely speaking English. The room is very basic and the toiletries out dated. We asked for a taxi and they refused to book one for us saying that we could have done ourselves. I forgot a jacket in the room and requested to be sent to Brussels where we were heading to the next day and they said I needed to pay for the parcel,eventually they never sent it. My advice is do not book this hotel. It is close the the centre and the station but we never felt safe during the night time while returning to the hotel.

I was first given a room which did not have an AC remote. So I had to go to the reception, and they provided me with a new room. In that room the AC had a remote but the AC wasn’t working - showing an error. I had to go to reception again and they said they will send a technician, no one came. I had to go to the reception multiple times. Mind you that even the lift wasn’t working for the entire time, which means I had to get up and down 3 floors every time. When I complained I was asked if I would work with a fan. Finally around 4pm I got a room which had an AC working. The hotel was otherwise good with good beds. But if something is not working, it will take forever to get solved. Ruined my entire stay because of the constant running.
