Very enjoyable and comfortable repeat visit
9.0Very central in village. Walking distance to pubs . Ample Free car parking. 12pm check out. Huge amazing bath in bathroom.
Adequate for a stag or hen. Not for discerning mature people. Manager & staff were v friendly, but h
6.0Breakfast was good. Staff gave different times for closing the kitchen. Manager said they may have to close early for food, as it did not get delivered yet 🤷♂️
− The carpet in the bedroom was all marked by someone spilling fluids. The second bed in a twin was a child’s size bed . The price charged was higher than quoted. Price of pint of lager was well below the other premises. The bar food was v generous & nice
pleasant enough
6.0Location was nice, short walk away from Monks and Soda Parlour. The beds were comfy, the hotel has a nice little Irish charm with a pub inside. Staff are friendly.
− Receptionist didn't know any of the food spots around other than Monks (an expensive fish restaurant). One of the guests directed us to the local super market and a brunch spot called Soda Parlour, which was only a 2 minute walk away. Didn't love the breakfast, asked for poached eggs but they were watery and made my toast all soggy :( Pretty average to be honest, expected a gorgeous fry up with hash browns and all the trimmings.
Location worked well
