8.0Comfortable rooms and clean
− During check-out, I handed my key card to the staff member in the designated envelope. He placed it aside and then asked me to go to another colleague because he wanted to assist another customer. Unfortunately, the colleague who took over was extremely unfriendly towards me. She asked me what I wanted and where my key card was. I told her my room number was 704, but she insisted that I had to provide the actual card, saying that anyone could claim to have stayed in that room. I explained that I had already handed the card to her colleague. He confirmed that he had received it from me, but the card could not be found. I repeated my room number, 704, but she continued to insist that this was not sufficient and that she needed the card. I eventually had to look behind the reception desk myself, where I found the card underneath the keyboard. I picked it up and handed it directly to her. What I found particularly unacceptable was that she did not apologize for her behaviour or for treating me with such suspicion, even after the card was found exactly where it had been left. The entire interaction made me feel extremely uncomfortable and disrespected. This is not the level of professionalism or customer service I would expect from your hotel. I consider the way I was treated completely unacceptable and believe this incident deserves your attention.
