Charming stay in Hofsos!

We had a spectacular stay at Fraendgardur in Hofsos. The cottage was picture-perfect; in fact, we took many photos of the scenery from both the front and back decks. The kitchen was well-equipped for preparing meals and dining either inside or outside by the water. The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom had great water pressure. The staff at the museum were friendly and welcoming; they opened the museum early for us, so that we could have a look, and we enjoyed the visit immensely.

Das Haus ist toll gelegen, in Küche und Bad ist alles vorhanden was es braucht, die Betten sind sehr bequem und bei schönem Wetter kann man auf der Terrasse sitzen und die Aussicht genießen. Die Haus- und Terrassen-Tür ist etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber so ist das in historischen Gebäuden.

Super lovely house next to the sea. There's local Midsummer celebration next to our house, super nice! We felt like locals there :)

Casa bellissima, fa parte del nucleo originario del paese, è stata ricostruita con le stesse caratteristiche di quelle storiche. Si affaccia sul porto ed è costeggiata da un piccolo fiume. Spaziosa, luminosa, ben equipaggiata. Bello vedere tramonto e alba da questa casa

The specific location was on a little river feeding into the bay, so had a great view. It was a full 2 bedroom apartment with a deck. Overall, we wished we could've stayed more than 1 night.

− Peaceful, except there were bagpipes at 8:30am welcoming a small cruise ship who docked there. Not too loud, but about 60 people were hanging out in your front area. I doubt this is very frequent.
