9.0Lovely property, very clean, bed was very comfortable and a great location. Breakfast very good, we had breakfast tray (granola fruit and yoghurt, croissant and juice) and breakfast in the cafe which I’d definitely recommend. Great value for the money
A sad experience.
3.0Lovely room & location.
− Not hot water. Couldn’t even have a cold shower as the water stopped flowing in the shower. At 09:15 I I called the 9 - 5 phone number 3 times with no answer so I left an answer phone message explaining the problem & asked for a call back. I called the “emergency number @ 09:45 & this was also on answer phone so I left a message again. At 10:00 (check - out time) we had breakfast next door in the cafe (opened at 10:00am.). At 10:45 no phone call from the owners so I told the cafe manager (Scarlet) what had happened & how disappointed I was that no one had called me - even from the Emergency number! Scarlet was lovely & contacted the owner who was aware there was a problem. I was offered a “Late Check Out”. This was of no use as the room still had no shower water (even cold) AND we had already packed the car with our luggage (check out time being 10:00am). I reiterated to Scarlet that the really serious matter was no contact even in an emergency. The internet signal is poor locally so guests are even more isolated - say we needed an ambulance etc etc. I contacted Booking.com a few days later & the lady called the property a number of times but did not get an answer. Booking.com tell me that they have been unable to get any satisfaction from the property to date & now ask for this Review. To say I am disappointed is an understatement as well as just being ignored by the property owner. So — Poor Service, Terrible support, No communication, & Non existent Customer Care in my case is the best way I can describe this stay. It’s such a pity because the place itself was lovely. Thank you B.c for trying to get a response on my behalf.

9.0Beautiful setting, had everything I needed, even some treats, a towel and poop bags for my dog who could stay too.
− Going into heatwave and the room was very warm even though 2 very good fans had been provided. We coped though as plenty of lovely cold water was provided.
Perfect stay in a perfect location
10.0The rooms had been comfortably furnished, with the character of old wooden beams and a choice of a shower or a bath all spotlessly clean. It was also good to have a television free zone, but Wifi accessible! Having breakfast in the cafe, is a very special idea, adding space and choice to your day. Welcome pack with biscuit treats for our dog!
