Beautiful villa in excellent location

The villa was beautiful and in an excellent location, while still being private. The rooms were nicely decorated and the gas log fire was a nice addition, no having to mess around with lighting a wood fire. It rained a lot during our stay but it was nice to relax indoors with the fire going and enjoying the view.

− There was a small ant issue, there were ants around the fridge area and in the water reservoir for the coffee machine. It didn’t appear unclean though so not sure where the ants came from. Downstairs was very cold, we found we had to keep the heater running all day in the bedroom with the en-suite door open to make the bedroom and bathroom a comfortable temperature (we were very grateful for the under tile heating too). You could feel the sudden change in temperature when going up and down the stairs. Overall though, it was lovely and we enjoyed our stay.

Property was as pictured, beautiful property in a picturesque location, great facilities - kitchen had everything we need, bathrooms were gorgeous and spacious.

− No dislikes. The driveway is steep as mentioned in book description, definitely steeper than I anticipated. We have a 4WD so it wasn’t too much of an issue but if you are an anxious driver you may find it stressful to navigate. Even the 4WD had to give a bit of UMPH to get up the driveway.
