Lovely pub in the heart of Beccles. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Highly Recommended.

This property was misrepresented on booking.com
1.0Pleasant room, and good location.butvit was not as described.
− On booking.com it stated 'the rooms are in the disused church tower' but the tower is across the road. When we expressed surprise to the host, he was not interested, and just said ,it is near the church tower'. This is not as advertised. It was misrepresentation, and not why we had booked it. They lied. (The entry on booking.com has now been altered but I have a screenshot of what it said when we booked, and when we arrived). We complained to booking.com and they said they would raise it with the owner, but he refused a refund. Neither the owner or booking.com have accepted responsibility for the liies and misrepresentation. Do not book this property; they lied to us. And I am disappointed that booking.com feels unable to recompense us fully.
