Misleading, outdated property,upsetting to find it not as advertised, unfortunately we left up set and did not take any

Clean bedding, good kitchen facilities, local to the town.

− Pictures do not reflect the actual property, misleading and outdated, could do with updating the actual state of the property. The property was not secure could not lock the back door and advised to lock it from the outside then walk around the front to enter the property Witch had no handle on the front door and the front door did not lock. Very noisy Road. Leak from bath into front room ceiling had to call out owners that came following day so could not get showered or bathed for first day then the following day until 18:30 hrs. No instructions on heating then told you can’t put heating on as owners control it by their phone app? No good for people that has issues with stairs leading to bed rooms as to steep for balance and only one hand rail. Cob webs around house dirty windows, only one smoke detector in whole of building and that was at the top of the stairs on the third floor, main issue was the misleading photos on booking.com looked clean and inviting this was not the case. Plants growing up the front door when driving up to find the property it looked like it was left empty. No instructions on any use of any appliances very disappointing and informed the owner that just dismissed the issues as if they were not a problem, we were there visiting for a family bereavement not to be upset by a very poor stay and just wanted a relaxing stay. Unfortunately we cut short our stay because of the issues especially not been able to secure the house completely even though the owners came a day after reporting the issues and I had to contact them when we were out and they were supposed to fix the issue with the back door witch they did not, and never contacted us to update what was done so we left a day early as we did not feel secure.

It was spacious, enough beds to go around. TV WiFi etc was accessible and working well. Also it's great to have kitchen facilities to hand as takeaways are too expensive. We can cater for ourselves throughout the week.

− Just needed to be nearer working place. But walking for 15 to 20 mins was not bad.
