Amazing terrace, cosy and stylish acommodation with a very kind host, the only downside was the mosquitos, otherwise we really enjoyed and can recommend :)

Super ruim en compleet

Super ruim appartement met royale slaapkamers en bedden. Keuken was volledig uitgerust en van alles voorzien. Parkeren kan veilig in het straatje bovenaan. Gastvrouw is super vriendelijk, ook late check out gekregen. Top

− Best wat trappen, maar dat is op heel veel plekken in opatia.

We stayed here for several nights and overall had a pleasant stay. The apartment was very clean, and both the bedroom and living area were spacious and comfortable. The kitchen and bathroom were quite small and cramped, but functional for a short stay. The location is excellent if you enjoy being close to the water. The Lungomare promenade is directly across the road, making it easy to access the many beautiful beaches along the coastline. There is also a lovely beach right opposite the apartment, which is a dog beach. We really enjoyed watching the dogs playing and swimming, and there was plenty of shade available. A couple of restaurants and a convenience store are within easy walking distance, and Opatija town centre is around a 20–25 minute walk away. Another feature we greatly appreciated was access to a communal washing machine, which was very useful during our travels.

− One thing to note is that there are a lot of stairs between the apartment and the beach. This wasn’t an issue for us, but it may be challenging for guests with mobility concerns or anyone travelling with very young children. The main downside was a strong sewage smell outside near the stair side of the property. Fortunately, we could not smell it inside the apartment. We were also surprised by the host’s strict instructions regarding the air conditioning. We were asked to turn it off whenever we left the apartment and to set it only around 6°C below the outdoor temperature to avoid overwhelming the system. During our stay, temperatures were 35–36°C, so having effective air conditioning was important for our comfort. Having stayed in many apartments over the years, this was the first time we had encountered such restrictions. Parking was also somewhat challenging. Access to the parking area required driving up a back road and then along a very narrow dirt road to reach the rear of the property. We were reluctant to drive this route at night because it was quite difficult to navigate, and guests with larger vehicles may find it particularly challenging.

Geweldig uitzicht op zee,leuk apartman met alles wat je nodig hebt, eigen parkeerplaats,leuke tuin met ligstoelen,veel groen rondom aardige en behulpzaam eigenaar.Een leuke detail was ligbad in de slaapkamer.We komen zeker terug

− According to the accommodation rules, the apartment must be vacated by 10:00 AM. Nevertheless, the owner couple burst into our room at 9:25 AM and started yelling at my partner and me at the top of their lungs, just because I was still in the process of washing two plates. Additionally, the night before, due to the rain, we brought the sunbed cushions under the terrace roof. However, due to the high humidity in the air, they became slightly damp. Despite this, Sergio, the host, shouted at us at the top of his voice, accusing us of not bringing them under the terrace roof at all, and claiming that’s why they got wet. They kicked us out in an unacceptable, primitive manner. I do not recommend Apartments Villa Vosilla to anyone.
