− The food at breakfast for such a lovely hotel was very poor, scrambled eggs beans and mushrooms all cold dispute being under hot plates, tried telling staff and fell on deaf ears.

5.0The hotel in general is very good the food is excellent and well presented, staff are very polite and helpful.
− I booked a room in the main house but was given a room in an annexe at the back. Although staff apologised and I received a partial refund it somewat ruined what should have bee a perfect weekend. As I had stayed there about 4 weeks prior I returned expecting the same as my first visit but the room fell way below par and not up to expectations.

− Lacking attention to detail. Bathroom floor had paint splatter on it and masking tape residue. Skirting board was visibly dusty. Shower screen waterproofing strip was stained and dislodged. No air con so room was stuffy. Sat on terrace for evening drink but furniture did not fit the setting and needed cushions for comfort.
