Would only stay there again if I had no choice in local area.

− The front of house staff were poor in their interaction with guests.

5.0Used this hotel several times before handy for the University Hospital & shopping centre & cruise terminals but not in the city centre.
− Hilton has always felt like it’s good at hospitality but not this time. No warm cookie on arrival. Blocked toilet in room. Not enough towels for guests, no hand towel. The tv was patchy and the reception staff put it down to local issues as their screens were having problems too. The pillows are too soft. The hairdryer only operates when the button is pressed continuously which is difficult when you have arthritis or a similar condition.The shower head wouldn’t turn. Water from the wet room didn’t drain and encroached on the toilet area. The shower/body lotion dispensers are too similar if you can’t read the labels without your glass on. I could add more. The restaurant had a limited menu. Paid parking; The car parking wasn’t added to my stay and even though I’d input my details; if I hadn’t checked that I’d laid I would’ve been fined.
