Pleasant facility and amenities, with improvement in staff attitudes toward guests necessary.
6.0Clean and tidy room that had been properly air-conditioned upon arrival, so I didn't have to sit in a hot and stuffy environment. Good selection of hot and cold breakfast items in the breakfast area. Pleasant inner courtyard with attractive landscaping.
− The layout of the rooms overall and access to them were confusing, with numerous passageways and stairs, and no signs indicating where rooms are located. The front desk staff were borderline inhospitable, clearly not adept at greeting guests. The night I checked in, the desk clerk barely said a word to me, to the point of being surly. Clearly, some training in how to treat patrons cordially and professionally is required here.

− I booked through booking.com, at 2:30 am the day of arrival, and included paying an additional $7 for unexpected incidentals. I unexpectedly needed to add 2 more guests to my reservation and to only make it for one night instead of two nights, so I called the motel at 1:54 pm, on my way. They added the extra guests with no problem, and I asked them about finalizing the deal. He said no problem, and to finish everything upon arrival. When we got there nearly seven hours later, they said that I should have called them by 2 o'clock to cancel the second night, and added that I should have canceled through booking.com. I wasn't aware of that. I will be billed for both nights!
