Hotel with lots of character with great views
8.0Lovely location, property has lots of character and potential. Enjoyed the pub and food and nearby pub/restaurant great location for walks and Bakewell.
− Property is being refurbished and recently purchased, quite a lot of cob/webs spiders and very low water power in shower.

− It needs a bit of TLC. It’s in the middle of a renovation, so fair enough. Will definitely go back when it’s finished.

8.0The staff were friendly, patient and professional. Food excellent and portions enormous. When I requested a small portion, they obliged and cut the cost of the meal in half.
− The weather was atrocious and I stayed for an additional night. Can't blame the hotel for the weather.
Good to know
Some rooms have views, however if you want a room with a view this should be requested when booking.
Please request either double or twin beds when booking, and request either a bath or a shower.
Well behaved pets can also be accommodated in the hotel, which is subject to an additional charge.
