Just loved being so close to the beach and enjoyed our stay a lot!
7.0One of the best locations in Naples being right on the beach. Good size room with a little terrace overlooking the beach.
− Parking - there is a parking garage across the street, so it would be very easy to self park (at a price of $44 per day!!) but they force you to valet. Means that you may have to wait a while and of course expected to tip every time. Room amenities - for $500+ per night it would have been nice to at least have complimentary water in the room. Restaurant - we had a dinner reservation on the terrace explaining that we were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary; not only was the table not ready when we got there but they also tried to squeeze us in at the end of the terrace; manager Greg handled it well but it was very disappointing nonetheless
Loved LaPlaya!
10.0Memories made! LaPlaya on the beach. Beautiful sunsets, peaceful morning walks on the beach.Loved the pools, hot tub, Tiki Bar, fire pits, beach loungers and umbrellas. Our room was spacious, clean and well attended. Chris Pasalodos met us without hesitation to fix a minor issue in our room and Claude (the bellman) was so friendly and helpful. Staff was great. Valet attendants prompt. Close drive to restaurants, shopping. LaPlaya has a restaurant and bar in house and a shopping boutique in the lobby. Thank you LaPlaya, our family of 11 had an amazing time.
Unfortunate experience.
6.0Nice place, but we were massively put off by the nickel and diming. Upon signing out, we were handed a bill for approximately $300 for a "Resort Fee" These fees happen to be illegal in Florida, unless the customer was informed up front. We paid for the hotel in full before arriving. The desk clerk told us the fees cover towels (she couldn't think of anything else) I'm going to dispute the charges, and I will definitely not go back.

Renovations: LaPlaya Beach & Golf Resort will undergo scheduled exterior enhancements from August 1 to September 15. All amenities, including dining, pool, and beach access, will remain fully available. Guests may experience intermittent daytime noise (Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM; Saturday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM).Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.
