− A/C was not working. Room got very hot, not the best experience for the nightly price and overall higher end hotel.

− The fact the pool was an outdoor pool and not open yet. It’s montana you should probably have an indoor pool and hot tub. Then they charge you 20 dollars per day to park in the parking lot. For what reason I’m not sure, all the people that show up to the restaurant take up the parking spots that you have to pay for which is pretty inconvenient. Then they had an ant problem in the bathrooms. We had ants in one room and they just moved us down the hallway to another room that had the same problem. For a four star hotel didn’t feel like one at all. Not worth the price.
Location is great, but lack of communication re: parking fee AND Construction was inconsiderate.
6.0It’s a great location, near U of MT, and easy access to I-90 . The restaurant, Finn’s , was excellent. We had dinner and breakfast and both meals were delicious.
− It was under extensive construction & confusing to find main entrance, and navigate through the building avoiding closed areas. The most off-putting was a $20.00 charge to park in the parking lot. What motel without covered parking charges $20, and without informing guests of the charge???
Worth the view, but not the room
6.0Everyone was super nice and friendly from checkin to checkout -- even the janitor was super nice! I loved the view and sound of the river. We booked a riverside view and it was as expected. The food was also fantastic. My hubs ordered dinner and breakfast and both were a fair value and excellent tasting, too.
− The carpeting was wrinkled and dirty, I didn't want to put my bare feet on it. The furniture was mismatched -- like four different sets of furniture made up our room. I didn't like the sneak charge of $20 parking. This is the first time in my life I've paid for parking at a hotel and it wasn't listed in the booking information.
