8.0I am leaving this review to reflect what you would expect. I usually travel with my family, unless is a business trip. So I expect to have a safe, clean and well placed "base camp". About safety, the place has controlled access and people that stay in the waiting hall mostly are other guests. The neighborhood is safer than it looks at first, indeed there are many other hotels around in the area. Take into account that this is midtown, so with Penn Station, Times Square and some other transportation landmarks around, you could expect a lot of movement (plus there are some renovations and construction sites closer). Besides that, it is safe but always take your own precautions. Related to cleanliness, the apartments are clean as could be any other high rotation apart-hotels. Without a doubt the buildings are old, but at least during winter, the rooms were warm and the cleaning party came as expected every two days. In our room, we had a small kitchenette and both the stovetop and fridge were working properly. You will be provided with a small set of cookware, dishware, and cuttleware. You will have to wash them on the sink, they provide you dishwasher and cloths. The administrators seemed helpful and they were true, honest and quick to solve any issue. Highly recomendable.
