10.0The staff was excellent and made an extra effort to make sure I enjoyed my trip! The room was perfect and location is great - quiet area not far from shopping and attractions.

10.0Fabulous hotel, with an excellent restaurant and the friendliest staff. We used the gym and rooftop lounge, but as it was winter it was a little cold for the pool. Easy walk into Rosebank mall and the Keyes Art Mile. Ubers were cheap and efficient after dark.

Comfortable, clean, and good location
10.0We stayed for three nights at the Home Suite Rosebank, and were glad we chose this hotel for our first trip to Johannesburg. The hotel itself was clean, quiet, and secure, with friendly and helpful staff, from the front desk to the security guards at the gate. Even though it was in a largely residential neighborhood, it still was conveniently and centrally located for all that we needed, with Rosebank Mall (and the restaurants of the Zone@Rosebank) just a five-minute drive away by car hire, and Sandton only about 15 minutes away. The hotel staff were able to accommodate a variety of requests, from booking an airport transfer (with Trevor, who was a great help), to helping me recharge my devices when my adapter didn't work on South African outlets. The selection at breakfast was varied and tasty, and since we had an early-morning departure for the airport, the kitchen staff packed us a generous breakfast to take away that morning as well. And as a bonus, we enjoyed visiting with the two friendly and well-behaved dogs, Mollie and Maggie, who slept on cushions in the lobby, and who kept us company while watching World Cup matches in the hotel dining room in the evenings. We always looked forward to their tail-wagging welcome upon returning to the hotel! All in all, this was an excellent place to stay, and we will gladly do so again if we make it back to Jo'burg.
