Amazing Refurbishment
10.0The location is unmatched, 5 minutes walk to the Hyde Park and Marble Arch. It’s newly refurbished and is in perfect condition. Heinrich at the front desk is an exceptional person. Greets everyone with a smile and makes you comfortable. My check in was done in less than 3 minutes and even though I was early, he immediately got a room for me. For a central London accommodation, this place is the best

Great location, though the property shows some wear
8.0Great location, though the property shows some wear The location is genuinely excellent: walking distance to Oxford Street, right by Hyde Park, and not far from Green Park and Buckingham Palace either, so it's a strong base for exploring central London on foot. A few caveats worth flagging. The entrance was under construction during our stay, and we ended up entering through the pub attached to the building, which felt a bit awkward for a hotel at this level. Rooms are on the smaller side, though ours had clearly been recently refurbished and felt fresh inside. Service throughout was good and the staff were helpful whenever we needed anything. That said, the property overall could be better maintained; some areas felt like they needed more upkeep to match the quality of the refurbished rooms. Overall, a solid stay let down slightly by maintenance and the construction at the entrance, but the location alone makes it worth considering.
