Location was beautiful, beds were comfy, the large table and seating area was perfect for all of us and we loved the kitchen. Having a large parking area was also good. It would have been nice to have gone into the back garden area as one of the guests was a landscape gardener and loved the wild flora.

− The shower in the bedroom didn't drain very well so a towel had to be used to mop up the overflow. The lighting in some areas needs checking as either not working or a little low on lux levels.

Lovely few days .. area beautiful.. cottage could do with a little attention to detail.

WiFi .. enough space for 6 comfortably.. reclining sofa a bonus.

− Towels and tea towel had stains on.. kitchen utensils needed a good clean.. kitchen bin was dirty with just a black put in side.... dirty food tray in the oven which had been left possibly by the last customer? ( I did make the owner aware who had said he would have a word with his cleaner)

Good location, walking distance to pubs. Easy to access and host responsive.

− Towels could have been better-recommend bringing your own. The wardrobe next to the en-suite needs to be secured to the wall as this is dangerous for children. The fridge was smelly.

Had a few snagging issues such as the remote not working and light bulbs flashing but the owner replied quickly to sort them.

− Parking on the drive was quite tricky and tight

Great location, amazing response to a very short notice booking. Clean and comfortable. Great pub with lovely food 200 metres down the road.

The location was excellent, and the stay was very comfortable. We really enjoyed the peaceful village setting. The living room was spacious, and the two bedrooms plus the kids’ room made it ideal for a relaxing family stay.

− Everything was great overall, and we truly enjoyed our stay. Just a small suggestion, it would be lovely if essentials like a little milk, shower gel, and salt towels could be included. Many guests appreciate having these on hand, especially when they first arrive and want to make a tea or coffee. It’s not mandatory at all, just a nice touch that could make the experience even better
