Loved it!

The property was clean and the perfect size for me and the 2 dogs. The garden was perfect in terms of access especially for my older dog- she seemed very happy in her home from home, The facilities in the property were great.

The bed was really comfortable but I did find the luxurious pillows too thick because I’m petite. In the end I had to abandon them and use a rolled up sweatshirt instead. In addition, (again because of my height) I found the washing line too high. I got around the problem by slinging a dog lead over it to pull it down so that I could reach it. These are very minor problems.

Comfortable and an ideal base for exploring Northumberland

Very clean, situated in the heart of Beadnell Village, so 10 min walk from cafes such as Courtyard, Craster Arms, Beadnell Tower Hotel. (As part of your stay, you will receive discount vouchers for some). 1 bedroom, spacious lounge/ diner. Media has tv, with access to digital channels, along with DVD player and a selection of DVDs for those who are not online. Also games and books provided. Some cold nights, but the heating was simple to activate. Use the wall thermostat and don't touch the actual radiators. The kitchen is well supplied with cooking utensils, microwave and electric oven. There is also a washing machine for your use. Welcome pack biscuits and 1 pint of milk were gratefully received with some tea & coffee to get you started. Beadnell Village Stores is a short walk to stock up on your groceries. In seahouses there is the co_op and one stop store for a bigger shop. Parking is in a separate courtyard with designated parking bay for the cottage you are staying at. I discovered a shortcut to Beadnell Bay by heading straight through this, then around the cottages at the end. Follow straight through and you on Harbour Road and to Beadnell Bay. (About 10 min walk) There is the Landing Restaurant and on certain days a Pizza outlet, along with some pop up shops ( seasonal) If you prefer to leave the car, you can take the coastal route bus all the way to Seahouses, Bamburgh, Berwick, or the other way is Alnwick, Craster and Dunstanburgh .

I did have to pay £100 breakages deposit, a few weeks before my stay, first time i have had to do this, but to be fair it was returned 7 days after my stay by cheque. I have stayed at similar let's on the same estate previously _ so if you are height challenged like I am, take a folding step stool to reach the tall cupboards in the kitchen, and potentially the hanging rails in the wardrobe. Also, not much they can do about this one, but being connecting bungalows, the walls are thin, so you can hear your neighbours. If anything it makes you more considerate about the noise levels of the TV and the likes. This is the same as other let's of the same build on the estate, so does not put me off from rebooking.
