8.0We stayed 3 days here. The staff was pleasant and very helpful. We had a pool villa which was just fabulous! My wife and daughters loved the massages. I cannot give it 5 stars because of how uncomfortable the pool chairs were. The loungers had no cushioning and the plastic lawn chairs were aged, stained, and some were cracked. I was planning on spending time at the pool reading a book while the rest of the family got massages, but literally could not sit on the lounge chairs for more than 20 minutes. Management needs to upgrade these and buy some cushions. It's a simple solution and inexpensive solution when all else is good!

Amazing Resort away from the Noise.
10.0We enjoyed Backwater Resort very much. We stayed 1 evening before an overnight houseboat trip. We enjoyed the resort so much we returned for another day just relaxing. The staff are all super accommodating and everyone greets you in passing. 5 star service. The rooms are done very well with real wood furnishing. It is isolated from the city but so quiet and relaxing. Finally, great lake views.
