I found this property kind of last-minute for a Levi ski trip away from dreary-winter Helsinki. We arrived late at night to the cozy aroma of a fireplace within a warm and charming cabin in the most peaceful, snowy woods one can imagine, and woke up the next morning with a dazzling view of the nearby snow-covered lake. Our one-week stay as a family of 5 was filled with “rauha” (peace). The owners were so attentive to our needs when we wanted any kind of help or local info, but otherwise left us alone to enjoy ourselves. The kitchen is fully loaded with everything we needed to prepare meals and avoid expensive restaurant fare (when home for bkfst and dinner). The kids loved the jacuzzi and rolling in the snow! We didn’t take advantage of the large wood-burning sauna or smoke sauna in separate huts (due to small kids not tolerating it for long) but the “perma-warm” indoor electric sauna was so convenient and relaxing. The heated floor in the bathroom/shower room was really nice for drying out ski clothing too :) Easy 25-minute drive on a main highway to Levi, and also only 25 minutes to Pallas national park on our ski-rest day. My only regret is that I don’t own a place like this for myself! I would love to stay here again if I’m back in the area!

The property was cosy, comfortable and very well equipped and the owner was so welcoming. She went above and beyond to help us and that made our stay even better. The villa is in a beautiful location and for our two young daughters really gave them a magical Christmas experience. I highly recommend this property.
