10.0Very nice and quiet location, cozy home and a beautiful view from the window (we even saw an otter and a moose through the window). All needed was in place. It was just perfect place to enjoy the nature of Lofoten and hike or visit for example Viking museum or small villages.
− Hm... stairs were a challenge for the parents of the 2 years old active boy:)
A great experience but could be improved with a few minor additions to improve the overall stay.
7.0The location was great to explore further to the north. It had a great view out the front over the fjord and a 360 degree view to observe the midnight sun. Had a large deck to enjoy the view and the serenity. Downstairs facilities are great.
− Late check in after 5.00 pm. Also so many requirements from the owner about various things such as placing dirty sheets in plastic bags. Perhaps that should be part of the service? The stairs are a little awkward but part of the character. The bedrooms are a little cramped for headroom given the nature of the build but again part of the character. Although many cooking items are provided and probably left from previous guests there were not bathroom basics provided such as shampoo or soap which we have come to expect on our travels and were caught short.
Quiet and comfortable single house beside a lake, Leknes and Henningsvaer in 30 minutes
9.0Very quiet location faraway from traffic, large lake before the house and beautiful surroundings. Kitchen and bathroom are renovated by today's standard, room is clean and comfortable. Internet and TV are excellent too. There is even a watering pipe in basement that can be used to rinse the car
− House is old and the paint in some area is off. Windows are all new, but there is decorative plastic grid added on outside and they make noise during strong wind. There is a wash machine but no drying machine
