AVOID.

1.0

Had towels, wifi, smart tv, fold out couch, (mostly) working utensils and facilities, beds were decent, no complaints from neighbours

The host was hard to get in touch with initially had to get hold of booking.com customer support to get a reply, thought we were actually getting scammed. The check-in process was a pain as well as we weren't given instructions until the day of, we were worried we weren't going to get in at all. They asked for a deposit into a separate bank account which we were sketchy about, would've been better to take from the card provided for the booking to avoid issues regarding scams. They continuously asked for ID before giving check-in instructions despite informing them we'd given it already. The nearest shops and train station is a 17min walk away which is a pain in the arse when you've got to do it every day in the freezing cold, obviously that was on us for choosing this listing but the location's terrible regardless. The house itself was borderline shithole. You can tell they invested the absolute minimum into this apartment but for the price you pay they're probably making bank out of it. Walk into the kitchen some of the cupboard drawers are broken, the frying pan looked like it was run over by a truck and picked out of the trash, couldn't fry shit in that pan without it sticking because of how shit it was. My brother said the pots were the same. There was very minimal cleaning utensils for the dishes etc, no dish rack, no hand soap - I know it's not a necessity but they lose points for it anyway. The outside - what a dump! I know it was mentioned in the reviews already WITH pictures but it's even worse seeing it in real life! You'd think the c*nts would've sorted it out after the first review but na, these c*nts don't gaf 😂 there's a wooden shed in the back that looks like the wind's about to blow it over it's literally leaning over to one side. The bloody tiles are unstuck & unstable, patiently waiting for a lawsuit to come out of it.

Not what we expected.

3.0

To be honest there was nothing I liked about property.

Property had a hole in the glass panel of front door, no sky tv as leads had come away from the back, light bulbs needed changing. Back garden overgrown and broken down shed. Front garden had big household items thrown out into area close to drive. General upkeep of the property was terrible and we left early on Wednesday morning. Would not recommend to others unless serious changes are made.

Good last minute option for us

7.0

We had to book this accommodation last minute as our initial one fell through. It was a busy weekend as had sold-out concerts back to back at Wembley. The booking was easily confirmed through Booking.com despite it being last minute. It comes with its own parking which is a bonus in London. The place was about 30 minutes drive to Wembley stadium, 45 minutes via public transport. A lot of reviews pointed out that they could not get their deposit back. I messaged them 2 days after our stay and I have received back our deposit within the agreed time of 7 days (I got it back in the 5th day post check out).

The house’s walls are very thin, you can easily hear each other from different rooms and you can hear the neighbours’ conversation so it’s not very private. The house is near bus stops but is about 20 minutes walk from train stations or tube. The check-in process was a bit tedious. We had to sign an agreement with them and needed to upload ID for every guests. The deposit had to be transferred separately manually, they will charge you £20 processing fee if you use a credit card. Because of the other reviews making us concerned about losing our deposits, we took pictures and videos of when we arrived and before checking out, so if anything happens it can be disputed but it was a bit of a hassle.
