A very nice place, very clean and lovely kitchen area, tv in every room and best of all is the garden the hot tub sauna and ice bath was especially good, all in all a very enjoyable stay, will stay there again 100%.

This is a fantastic property, the property is in a strange location, however is perfect if you have an event at hensol castle, with taxis available locally that take card payments, the property was large, well decorated and accommodates a large amount of guests, the driveway is large enough for three cars with some street parking also available, the outdoor facilities sold this property to us, the hot tub, sauna and plunge pool was fantastic and also covered so that they be enjoyed whatever the weather. Bedding was clean and comfortable. Bathrooms were clean, and well equipped. Tea and coffee making facilities available with a lovely edition of some sweet treats.

− When arriving there is a ring door bell, which understandably is for security, however it did feel a little invasive as once arrived I received a text with the house rules asking us to be mindful of the neighbours and noise making me feel a little on edge we were being watched and listed too. When making up the sofa beds there was a dirty male sock. No mop to clean the floor if needed. Or any kind of indexation on where to leave rubbish. There is a book full of house rules, no parties, no hen do’s no events (This is a large property and will most likely be used to accommodate such events) although understandably keeping in mind the surrounding neighbours I think the rule book extends a little too far. There aren’t a lot of mirrors in the property, as this property will most likely be used for weddings/ events at hensol castle mirrors are essential especially when occupying a large number of people. I was emailed and texted both days asking about my stay, asking for a review, and reminding us of neighbours and noise rules, I would advise that these rules be provided prior to arrival so we could just enjoy the stay rather than being texted daily.
