Hotel Flores de Sal-Valle de Guadalupe

I decided to leave my date couldn’t shower so I left to another hotel so she could shower.

I’ve stayed there before several times. I liked it a lot. Just not this last time.

− I rented the big suite infront of the pool with jacuzzi inside the room. The jacuzzi couldn’t be regulated, and the shower valve didn’t work, I took a very cold shower because the hoy water never arrive .

The building itself met our expectations but the service and amenities DID NOT. We will not rebook

I liked the location and the rooms are clean, showers are nice

− Breakfast provided was only one option every day, wasn't good and took too long to receive (1hour). They didn't warm the hot tub even at 8/9pm so we didn't get to enjoy the amenities. 80% of the staff didn't speak English so they couldn't understand our requests. I had unauthorized charges from the restaurant which I didn't order

Our 2-night stay was fantastic. The front desk staff greeted us warmly. Our room was beautiful, quiet, and featured a very comfortable bed with clean linens. The breakfast was delicious and all staff were superb. Highly recommended!

− The only minor drawback was the Wi-Fi failed for a couple of hours, but we spent the time playing dominoes by the pool.

The hotel ground and rooms are beautiful.

− Our group of 16 people, including seven children, stayed for two nights and booked five rooms. The hotel grounds are absolutely beautiful, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the price is very reasonable for the area. Unfortunately, several issues significantly impacted our stay and would prevent me from recommending this hotel to my clients. Issues we experienced: * The included breakfast was extremely disappointing. The only complimentary breakfast option was chilaquiles. As a group of 16 guests from the United States, including seven children, most of us did not enjoy or eat chilaquiles. A few of us only had the coffee and fruit plate. Since juice was not included, most of us also had to order additional items, including juice for the children, because the complimentary breakfast alone was not sufficient for our group. The service was also very disorganized. During the first morning, several members of our group had to repeatedly go to the counter to remind the staff about missing orders because they kept forgetting us. Breakfast took nearly 90 minutes due to multiple mistakes and delays. One person in our group never received their pancake order, and we eventually told the staff not to bother bringing it anymore. To make matters worse, our bills included items that we never ordered. The following morning, we brought food for our children because they simply could not eat the breakfast options provided. We only ordered coffee and fruit from the hotel. After breakfast, we were told we still needed to pay for three fruit plates. Later, the staff reduced the charge to two fruit plates. The situation left us feeling as though we were being charged extra because we had chosen not to order more of the hotel’s food after our disappointing experience the day before. Whether or not that was the intention, it added to our frustration and left a negative impression. * The hot tub was not actually hot. It was only warm.
