This was a different hotel experience for me. Really it's kind of an apartment building where they took part of one floor and made 8-10 hotel rooms out of it. You have a key to get into the building and your own code to get into the lobby and rooms. It's on kind of a side street ... but near the Main Street of Rue de France that leads to 1,000 restaurants and the old city. It's also near 2 grocery stores and variety stores and 1 block from the Sea. The staff and communication (e-mail instructions) were super good and detailed. They even let me store my stuff in their lobby and office until my room was ready. My only beef was that the walls are a bit thin in the rooms ... but I had not noisy neighbours and it was not really an issue But if a party or loud talking is next door ... you're going to hear it more than usual.

Die Zimmer sind wesentlich kleiner als auf den Fotos zu erkennen. Fenster war zum Hinterhof, der unfassbar dreckig, eklig und dunkel war. Das müsste man mal reinigen. Ansonsten war die Unterkunft recht neu, sauber, aber auch verdammt hellhörig. Badezimmer hatte keine richtige Tür, sondern nur eine dünne Schranktür. Auch das Bad war sehr eng und hatte keine Lüftung.

Just back from a working week on the outskirts of Nice and L'App-Art was a great base to work from. We used Uber, Bus and Trolleybus, not sure how easy on-street parking would be if you have a hire car (check with the team at the hotel who were very helpful). Joe
