The location is excellent and a spacious property. Well equipped with cooking implements and lovely welcoming refreshments. Lovely quality bedding and towels and the beds felt really comfortable.

− The property could have been a bit cleaner- such as quite dusty in the corner areas. The cleaner was still at the property at 3pm when we arrived and she said check in was 4pm - I know I asked for 3-4pm so was a bit confused but not such a big problem and we waited in the car until she had finished. The oven and hob were hard to use and I did google the instructions but the temperatures were hard to control and cooking was not so successful. There was a broken side table in the lounge by the armchair which was not practical to put anything on. I did warn my elderly mother not to put a glass on it as it was very wonky and when I looked the leg was broken and it did collapse and was a hazard particularly as we had a young child with us. CO2 alarm started to sound in the night with low battery which was just unfortunate timing and the smoke alarm in the Attic room was also bleeping.

Carolyn was so helpful & communication regarding requests for early move in etc., was very speedy. The accommodation was in a perfect location and so clean and cosy, a real treat for a girly weekend. My friend whose 60th Birthday was being celebrated had a fantastic, relaxed and wonderful time here.

− Stairs maybe tricky for those with limited mobility. We personally didn't struggle though.

Amazing, certainly return and recommend for a romantic break in a beautiful village

Loved the location and the property itself, very cosy with a beautiful seating spot within the bedroom window with a view. The location was perfect.

− Nothing comes to mind.

Beautiful and nicely decorated cottage in a lovely location. Good facilities nearby. Household items were sufficient for our needs and we appreciated the two welcome items. Leaflets giving history of Kirkby Lonsdale

− Key safe was difficult to open. Instructions were limited, i.e. none for the oven only the hob and the fridge It was cool in the living room early morning and late evening. We couldn't get the electric fire to come on. No information sheet provided.

Throughly recommend this place . Will definitely book again
