The view was amazing from the villa and the pool. The villa is equipped in a very creative and artistic way. It felt very comfortable. Lia helped us with all our requests. E.g. With motorbikes to discover the area. And she provided each day a tasty breakfast. The whole villa and outdoor area was quite spacious and big

− The mountain was a bit high to walk up and down. But this was no problem anymore with the bikes.

Wow. We are so impressed with the view. It's truly stunning. Fabulous sunsets. The infinity swimming pool. The gardens and statues create a magical place to be. The staff are gorgeous especially Lia the manager. She is so happy and efficient. Her English is amazing. Bed comfortable. Cleanliness is a priority. The kitchen is at your disposal if you want. The buildings are unique as you can see when you book but they are so much more. The attention to detail is fantastic.

− We are in our 70's and there was no way we could walk to the beach or the restaurant. So it curbed our activities. Would strongly suggest hiring a car or be prepared to use a local taxi . Plus the lower villa with its own kitchen is lovely but the stairs to the pool were too steep for us . No worries for younger fitter people. I did not like the fact there was no hot water in the bathroom.

Avoid at all cost health and safety issues

The views

− There were several health and safety issues. There was mould on every ceiling in the house, as well as on the sofa, bed, and sheets. The smell of mould was very intense and overwhelming. The electricity went out just a few minutes after our arrival. The villa was extremely dirty, with ants and other insects everywhere. The bathroom was also unclean, and the hand soap appeared to be reused. The towels were filthy as well. We informed the villa owner about the condition of the property and told them we couldn’t stay there overnight. We requested compensation. The owner agreed to reimburse part of the cost for the night but never followed through. I have all of this in writing.

It’s a quiet unique villa. We really liked it, it’s very big and very comfortable. Everything is very clean and you can see that they take very good care of everything.

Great views but...

The stunning, expansive views to Agung and the Gili Islands. The aesthetic of the dome villas and the kitsch style was eclectic and different. The view from the pool is amazing and was definitely the best part of this property.

− Unfortunately, we had ongoing issues with the water and power during our 2 night stay and despite the staffs best efforts to fix it we continued to experience periods with no running water meaning we couldn't flush toilets or wash hands. When the water was working the pressure was too low to have a decent shower and you had to wait a while to be able to wash hands. The power to the air cons in one room kept tripping the surge protector and was also apparently connected to the pump so we just ended up just having to turn that off. We also found that the villa didn't seem very private. We wanted to spend time relaxing at the pool and it seemed like there was always people around. The weirdest part was there seemed to be a store area behind the main bathroom and it felt like almost every time we were using the toilet there was someone on the other side of the wall. The owners arrived late on our first night and moved into another dome at the bottom of the property which we were told (the day before) was part of the property we had rented. We didn't know they were coming and my partner was surprised to bump into him early on our 1st morning. Whilst the owners were lovely and also tried to help with the water issues, this added to the feeling that the villa was not very private. Even though we booked a 2 bed villa, we were surprised to have to ask for extra bedding for our children. The bed had a fitted sheet and pillows but nothing else. However, what was provided was a barely adequate leopard print throw and a sarong. We ended up covering our daughter with extra towels so she could sleep comfortably. The property has an incredible location with amazing views and a really cool aesthetic - so there is huge potential for this to be a really great place to stay. Unfortunately for us this was not a great experience at all.

Very pleasant property to rest away from the main rush

After few days in the gili´s, i took the time to stay in this stunning property, the view is amazing it really charged me up... very unique property i should had stayed 1 or 2 more days...
