The place was perfect for our stay. Cozy and comfortable with everything we needed. Having a garden was also great for enjoying the evening by a fire. Unfortunately we didn't get a chance to use the hot tub, but it is a great addition to an already amazing place.

Brilliant, would recommend to anyone and everyone.

It’s quaint, quiet, full of wildlife and natural beauty with a brilliant view. What’s not to love? The owners did everything they could and more, seriously lovely genuine people who didn’t leave a stone unturned for our visit. Couldn’t say enough good things frankly.

− You will need a car ideally due to the location although we managed just about.

We loved the stay at this shepherd’s hut, the hosts were so nice and even preheated the hot tub for us before our arrival, and left us two really nice brownies for arrival as well! The Shepherd was so cosy, had the nicest couple of days!

Immaculate, cosy and a perfect base to access exmoor national park. The hosts were so helpful and everything was so thought out. The hut was gorgeous and felt like a home from home. Stunning find.

Everything about elmhurst hut was perfect down to every single touch. It came with a fantastic book explaining how to work everything which definitely came in handy for someone like me! A full list of DVD’s which you could grab when you wanted. Two home made brownies and the most special note as soon as we arrived. It really was perfect and the most breathtaking views. I can’t thank you both enough for having us!
