Central but calm location, Spar supermarket, bakery, pharmacy, playground within a few steps of reach. The terrace is the highlight of the accomodation, with the jacuzzi, lights creating a nice atmosphere. View from the terrace overlooks the small square, the church and towards the mountains, rainbow appearing like almost every other day. :) Apartment well equipped with everything you may need, sheets, plenty of towels, appliances in the kitchen (hob, fridge, Dolce Gusto coffee machine, toaster, even a mixer), washing machine. Everything clean an tidy. La Aldea beach, Mirador del Balcon very close by car. Easy to park for free just almost next to the building. Host is very responsive, nice and helpful (speaking Spanish, using translator), checking in and out was easy. Any issues mitigated very quickly.

− South of the island is bit distant with 1h drive in the mountains. Weather was not the most pleasant during our stay, with some extraordinary strong storms that were quite noisy inside the apartment - obviously, rooftop location. The part of the city is developing, with renovations nearby, that can cause some noise during the day - this is only temporary inconvenience.

Apartamento muy equipado .. Terraza y jacuzzi muy bien .. a destacar la limpieza . Bien situado , el pueblo y estancia agradables.

− Quizás la comunicación con nosotros no fue la mejor. Un poco de confusión a la llegada. También nos sentimos presionados para dejar el piso nuestro ultimo día antes de las 10 de la mañana cuando el horario acordado era hasta las 11 y en ningún momento nos opusimos a ello.

Cozy apartment 'with a soul' in the heart of an authentic Canarian village

The apartment is very cozy and decorated with taste. The owners are sympathetic people, open to answer any questions (only Spanish-speaking). Although in the very heart of the village, it is very quiet at night. The terrace is very pleasant for a breakfast or dinner outside, or for an afternoon of chilling and relaxing. Also very convenient is the good Spar-supermarkt just across the street. Generally, it is possible to find a parking spot in one of the surrounding streets. The village of La Aldea is authentic Spanish-Canarian, and has nothing to do with the big mass tourism in the South of the island......

− The apartment is on the second floor, and there is no elevator. Getting your luggage up and down requires a bit of an effort.
