Fabulous little Bolthole!
9.0This is a wonderful little bolthole with everything you'll need for a short stay. Even if you are cooking (which we were), this kitchen is one of the most well-stocked for condiments, tea, coffee, and even some cupboard staples like stock cubes! It has pots and pans and bowls, and enough crockery and cutlery to fill the dishwasher. It's clean, warm and comfortable, as well as being a stone's throw from the local care home where we visit a close relative every month. Thanks to Carol and her team for messaging us (excellent communication all round) when the home was ready as we arrived early and could drop off our luggage/food shopping before going to the nursing home. It was also very convenient to open the French doors into a little garden as we could allow the dog access first thing before a walk and last thing before bed. Such a relief to find such a fabulous place to stay.
− As we're used to a king size bed, this for us was the only downside as we didn't sleep too well 😔

9.0Clean tidy and welcoming. Great communication from owner . Plenty of parking. Appears to have good transport links to Edinburgh. Very quiet apart from some flight plane noise. Well stocked kitchen with easy to use white goods inc dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer and oven. We will Definately try to rebook soon
− Is about 40-60 minutes drive into Edinburgh to get to the mile. However looks like good transport links within a mile if not driving in. There is noise from planes think it’s on a flight path. Didn’t bother us but noted for people not used to city noise. Otherwise very quiet.
