It had everything we needed for our short one night stay. We booked last minute and everything was ready for our arrival. Met in person by our host who was very informative about the area.

Spacious and very comfortable but don't expect to be able to watch TV.

The apartment was spacious and had very nice decor and facilities. Hubert was very welcoming when we arrived and made it easy to get in. He gave a us a good tour of the main features, which meant we were aware of a couple of key procedures related to heating and not water for showering.

− The bathroom was a long way from the bedroom - 2 rooms away. This was a problem for one of us who lives with Alzheimer's Disease. It wasn't easy to find the bathroom in the night as the night light we use for orientation had to be either too far from the bedroom or too far from the bathroom. Also, the wifi was problematic for streaming tv shows through our laptop. The laptop could not get a good wifi connection with the modem in the hallway and the modem couldn't connect with the modem relocated to the tv room. Hotspotting with the mobile phone wouldn't work as there was no reception inside the apartment. So we were unable to stream.

Hubert came in after we arrived bringing us a choc -ice and he seemed very nice The bed was comfortable

− No comfortable seating . Having to go and buy toilet rolls and kitchen rolls on the first day T V situated too high up on the wall . Most of these complaints appeared on previous reviews, and have not been acted upon .

− Just a couple of woodlouse here and there. Nothing really to worry about

If you are looking to totally disconnect in a cute little place in Ireland this is the place.

It was in a nice quiet area. The host was super nice and helpful. It was very warm the time we were there so he went and got us a fan to help keep the space cooler.

− The property was not close enough to walk to anything. The closest restaurants, grocery stores or shops were at least a 15 minute drive and taxis are hard to get so make sure you have your own vehicle. The WIFI was not working due to a storm, which we thought would be fixed by the time we got there but the repair got further delayed. Therefore we had no TV or reliable internet when we were at the property which was disappointing since we couldn't really watch tv or be online.
